2025. With the current state of the world our Society's priority will, moving forward be Peace and Reconciliation and how Business and Community Education can contribute to that process. Please write and tell us your experiences and views regarding this to generalsecretary@stbe.org.uk.  We will be working with The Centre for Reconciliation, other professional and trade associations and universities on this theme and with The Youth Development Association on programmes for young people.  But 'you're never to old!'

The Mandate 

We are a professional membership organisation and training provider for teachers, trainers and youth workers in commerce and community. You may wish to join our liberal professional home. With histories going back to the 1800's we are proud to have been a unique contributor to education, economy, fairness and justice throughout the Commonwealth and beyond. The Faculty and Society wish to make it clear that we are not a 'conformist organisation' aiming to fit people to any form of restrictive society. We expect members to conform the the 'law of the land' where this is just and fair and expect them to speak out where there is injustive and unfairness. We do not support any form of compulsory professional registration or the reasons given for this. Education should not be constrained.
